London is my first love

Well-known tourists place. Westminster and Big Ben
I used to live in London for the last year and now, I visit London only on weekends because of my new university's location. Sometimes I manage to come to London only once i 2-3 week and it feels really weird to be as a guest here since 3 or 4 months ago I was one of those busy Londoners with their headphones and cups of coffee in hands. So, I am actually now in London and it made me think about things I like about London. I've decided not to write about things I dislike about it, since I don't want to go too far for the negative side and want to just keep it simple. So, shall we start?

1. Each time you come to London, It seems like nothing changed.
This is what I notice every time I come to London and especially all common places such as  Oxford street, Knightsbridge, Leicester square, Covent Garden and Sloane street. During weekend, you will always see groups of people with lots of bags, taking some photos and eating on the floor. You even can notice that type of people you see are similar each time. Basically, my theory is that each time you come to London after couple of weeks outside you won't feel that you missed something and people do the same thing every day. Some would say it might be addressed as a bad thing, but personally, I like the feeling that whenever day you come to London, you can become a part of this busy Londoners community.

2.The opportunity to meet extraordinary people. My friend once took me to one of the best places I've ever been to. It's called 'Portabella road' and you really want to be in this place any Saturday. Basically, it's a vintage fair, but I find it as not simply ordinary one. I've never seen such a variety of people and styles in one place. I am sure there are more such places in London and that what makes this place even more unique.

3. Transport facilities. First of all, drivers in London are absolutely crazy. It seems like there are no rules and bus drivers get drunk before they go work. This what makes this city even more busy as no one has time to wait when the red light is on and there are always people screaming to catch a bus or a cab. As for cabs, I kind of feel special when I am inside the cab as again, there are thousands of same cabs in London and apparently you become part of all these. I also find tube as a romantic thing. Especially when the train is approaching or you drive all the way on escalators.
People travel on a London Tube

Unfortunately, that's all I could think about at the moment.
Thanks for reading.
