Ireland is an amazing island I've never been to, unfortunately. As I've seen many pictures and movies filmed in Ireland and I see it as a small world with a beautiful nature, funny language and extremely open-minded people. So, I found this amazing gallery where Irish celebrities are named and didn't expect all these famous people have irish roots. 


So, I just want to share with you some names and pictures and i bet you never thought they are actually Irish. 

Rooney Mara

1. Rooney Mara – ‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ descends from a very Irish family. Her uncle was even the United States Ambassador to Ireland at one time.
2. Olivia Wilde – This rising actress who played in 'Time' with Justin Timberlake has Irish citizenship
3. Drew Barrymore-Proud of her Irish roots, Barrymore took a road trip around Ireland in 2001 where she ran around wheat fields…naked!
4. Katherine Heigl-The ‘Knocked Up’ and ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star has both Irish and German heritage.
5. Anne Hathaway-The young Oscar host known by leading role in 'Devil wears Prada'  has main ancestry roots in Ireland.
6. Pierce Brosnan-Classy and sophisticated, it’s no wonder the Irish actor made the perfect James Bond.
