I've known my husband-to-be for 4 year already and before I knew him, I wasn't interested in cars and speed at all. Now, we watch thousands of videos together and go to car museums and races with our friends.
It's weird how one's interests can become someone's interest after spending a lot of time together. And I even didn't notice how it became my obsession as I simply became familiar with something new and quite liked it. Thanks to this obsession, my boyfriend made me a good driver and now we even drive a car the same way. I cannon say that we like same cars, but we have this kid of line which distinguishes good cars and cars, simply talking.
As for my own interest, my fiancé became interested in tennis once he found out I used to play it. Even thought he wasn't very good at the beginning, we practiced a lot and now we play every week around our university.
So, we both took some interests from each other since all this time. However, a couple of weeks before we started doing some origami and I find it really interesting) Since last two terms, we became pretty good in table tennis by practicing on each other. So, now we have common interests that we haven't been aware of.
As time goes by, I hope we will find more and more common interests and even unexpected one. I hope to every couple to work on this part of your relations since it really helps you to become more close to each other and these are memories that cannot be replaced.
